Join Host Laura Knoy at 9am Tuesday, March 1st, on New Hampshire Public Radio as she discusses the impact of the historic Weeks Act on our nation’s national forests as well as the creation of our own White Mountain National Forest. Guest David Govatski, the secretary for the Weeks Act Centennial Coordinating Committee and forest historian will shed light on why the Weeks Act continues to be such an important part of our nation’s conservation history.
