Join Forest Historian James Lewis of the Forest History Society in Durham, North Carolina, at Plymouth State University on Thursday May 12th, at 4:30pm in the Heritage Commons. Lewis plans on speaking about how the American South viewed and currently view the Weeks Act, where Pisgah National Forest in North Carolina became the first National Forest to be created using the power of Weeks’ Law.
