Join one of these upcoming celebrations of the publication of “Beyond the Notches: Stories of Place in New Hampshire’s North Country,” an anthology of essays featuring North Country writers. Meet the authors, editors, and the cover artist, Amy Delventhal, and enjoy music by North Country fiddler Patrick Ross. Free and open to the public, these informal events are presented by the Monadnock Institute of Nature, Place & Culture in collaboration with local libraries, and in cooperation with the Arts Alliance and the Weeks Act Centennial. * June 4, 1-3pm: on the lawn at the Littleton Community Center (in the annex in case of rain), 120 Main St., Littleton.
* June 11, 1-3pm: on the lawn at the Conway Public Library (inside in case of rain), 1634 E. Main St., Center Conway.
* June 18, 1-3pm: on the lawn at the Colebrook Public Library (inside in case of rain), 16 Bridge St., Colebrook.
* June 19, 3:30-5pm, as part of the Lupine Festival, the Frost Place will host a reading by Franconia area authors featured in the anthology, in the Holt Barn,158 Ridge Rd., Franconia.
